Business Development Consultant

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking candidates to fill Business Development Consultant positions! As a Business Development Consultant at Cutting Edge Resource Group, you will meet one on one with clients and potential clients to develop relationships and grow our client base. Cutting Edge Resource Group is looking for individuals who are committed to growing their career in the sales and business development field. You’ll also be working closely with the key decision makers within the company and colleagues working in sales, marketing and accounts. Expect your role to include the following tasks and areas of responsibility:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be able to meet individual sales quotas and help train others to do the same.
  • Learn sales team leadership and development.
  • Promote and sell products to current and potential clients within a defined geographical events space.
  • Uses functional and technical knowledge of our clients’ products and customer markets to meet or exceed customer needs.
  • Establish and maintain excellent communications and sound working relationships with our staff and clientele.
  • Actively participate in scheduled company meetings, conference calls and other business meetings.
  • Identifying new business opportunities.
  • Developing leads and contacting potential customers.
  • Devising sales strategies and implementing them.
  • Meeting face to face with existing customers regularly.
  • Keeping up to date with trends within your sector.
  • Making sure targets are met periodically.

Salary-Commission Only

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
